Rowing machine repair across North and South Carolina.

Rowers are simple machines that take a beating: chains stretch, seat rollers flatten, monitors die, and water tanks and dampers need care. ServiceRX technicians service Concept2, WaterRower, and magnetic rowers on site so your rowing stations stay in rotation.

Overview

What this service covers

Rowing machines have three systems: the drive (chain or strap, flywheel, damper or tank), the seat and rail, and the monitor. Most complaints trace to the seat rollers and rail, the chain and its return mechanism, or a monitor that has lost power or connection.

Common rowing machine repairs

  • Chain or strap service: stretched, dry, or noisy chains; frayed straps on strap-drive models; return bungee or spring replacement.
  • Seat and rail: flat-spotted rollers, worn seat bearings, scored or dirty rails causing a rough slide.
  • Monitor and sensors: dead PM5 or equivalent, missing stroke data, battery and generator issues, sensor cable faults.
  • Damper and flywheel: sticky damper, flywheel bearing noise, fan housing cleaning.
  • Water rowers: tank treatment, seal inspection, belt and clutch service, wood frame hardware.
  • Footplates and straps: worn heel cups, straps, and adjustment hardware.

Rower fleets in studios and campuses

Rowing studios and campus recreation centers run a dozen or more rowers hard every day. A rotation-based preventive maintenance plan keeps chains, rollers, and monitors ahead of failure across the whole fleet.
